TGC ONLINE PORTFOLIO APRIL INTAKE
INTRODUCTION
(FNBE) in Taylor University. FNBE is a course that consists of many different types of
subjects. Of course some of the subjects are compulsory and the others are alternative
choice. Since FNBE is simply a foundation, thus, it divides into 2 parts, which is semester 1 and semester 2. The subjects that we are going to study in semester 1 and semester 2 are totally different. The subjects in semester 1 are obviously much more easier compared to semester 2 since it is more focus in individual and group assignment while the subjects in semester to are tend to examination. This is reasonable and expected because students are required to build and firm their basis before they proceed to higher level of education. Hence, students are require to do more project in semester 1 so that they have to do more research in detail. The skill of research is crucial because there are too many unreliable sources in the internet. So, students are require to analyse whether the desire information are reliable or not and this had became their task.
Subjects in Semester 1
Subjects in Semester 2
I can said that almost all of the subjects in semester 1 is compulsory, but after you had completed semester 1, you have the chance to choose your desire subject in semester 2. If you wish to be a quantity surveyor in the future time, I personally advice you to choose mathematics since mathematics is necessary for quantity surveyor. As for architecture, you can choose design visualization and cultural and civilization. As a professional architecture, you must at least understand the culture of different states and countries. You must have creative thinking but not too much because architecture tend to design a building instead of a toy. So, you must understand whether your ideas are working on a building or not. Of course, these are simply my suggestion, you can choose to follow or refuse to do it. You have freedom on deciding your future.
